About Us

Paperverse was founded by a group of high school juniors in Kaohsiung, Taiwan who are on a mission to promote a more eco-friendly environment. The team realized that 80% of students don’t finish using up their notebooks and most of them end up in landfills. While visiting local schools in rural areas, they realized that there is a shortage of educational resources such as notebooks. They decided that they want to help by donating notebooks and materials for students to get a better education. However, knowing that the creation of paper is harmful for the environment, they decided to create notebooks out of unused paper to not only help out local schools but also promote an eco-friendly environment.

Our mission is to solve the problem of shortage in educational materials in rural schools in Taiwan. We plan to repurpose unused papers to create notebooks which will be donated to underserved communities while spreading the awareness of recycling. As part of the Paperverse team, we wish to involve more students to make a greater impact in the environment through either donating or using recycled notebooks.
